The First Inoculation

About The Project // History // Blog Posts

Under close supervision, you will be given your first Neg-Vac. After a brief period of supervision, you will be free to return home.

If your initial checks do not reveal any health issues that would prevent the use of Neg-Vac medication, you will then be given your first inoculation. This will be carried out in our offices, and under the supervision of one of our specially trained health professionals. This is to ensure that, un the rare instance of an unforeseen allergic reaction, there is someone on hand to keep you safe. Your safety is our priority throughout your use of the Ailuros system.

In terms of what is a Neg-Vac inoculation, each sample is tailor made to suit the individual. The reason for this is that each of us has different levels of predisposition towards negative reactions and behaviours. For example, you may suffer with extreme levels of jealousy with a mild tendency towards aggressive verbal outburst. Meanwhile, your neighbour may have a high level of desire to react violently, and a constant minor undercurrent of anger. Each of you would receive a slightly different inoculation designed specifically to suppress these negative tendencies.

Though we cannot list all the possible components that could be in a Neg-Vac, you are legally allowed to request a full breakdown of your individual sample at any time. Please also be aware that while the Ailuros system is in its infancy, the use of medication for this type of work is not. There is a long history of the use of medications such as Paxil and Prozac as ways to control intrusive thoughts experienced by those suffering from depression or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). In a similar way, you may also see doctors prescribe Central Nervous System (CNS) Depressants and Stimulants for various reasons. In that way, it is useful to look at things this way: the commonly used medications your doctor may prescribe offer a broad-brush approach to controlling negative thoughts. Neg-Vacs offer similar results but on a more targeted level, focusing on individual needs rather than generalised processes.
