“It’s embarrassing, Hyden. That’s why,” Graham whined.
“I really don’t care, Graham. I’ve already told you. If you’re going to leave this house for any reason, you will have a bodyguard. It’s madness out there.”
“Come on, Hyden. I’m a grown man. I’ve been to school a thousand times and made it back just fine every time.”
“Thank the Great Wolf. But after…” Hyden waved at the windows, “all the talk about shifters causing this mayhem, I’m not allowing us to take any more chances. Not when you’re carrying our child.”
Graham frowned. “That’s the only thing you care about?”
Hyden glanced up from his computer screen. He was sitting at his desk in his office which was right off the living room of this, Hyden and Graham’s huge sprawling house. No longer the official Solfang House for the pack, Hyden still conducted a lot of his business here. Graham hadn’t noticed this room, this office, on the night he had arrived nearly seven months ago now. Perhaps the door had been closed. He just didn’t remember. But, to be fair, he had been a little preoccupied that night. Searching by bus and on foot for a room to rent in the pouring rain had been exhausting. Having made several mistakes at that point because he had lost the ad his friend had given him with the actual address, Graham had simply been grateful to be inside.
Of course, as it turned out, Solfang House hadn’t been the correct address either.
But, thankfully, walking into this house had evidently been preordained. Hyden was Graham’s fated mate even though Graham had been desperate to find another Omega to live with, not a scary, demanding, self-centered Alpha.
“You know that’s not true,” the big Alpha growled as he came around the desk toward Graham. He grabbed Graham and pulled him into his arms, leaning down and kissing him until Graham was dizzy with desire. Make no mistake, Hyden was demanding, that was for sure. Everywhere and with everything. And in the bedroom or the playroom, he satisfied Graham in every way possible.
Hyden kissed down Graham’s throat, nipping and licking. “Besides. I know you don’t like to be alone. This way someone is with you. Unfortunately, it won’t be me. I wish it could be.”
“No, Hyden. I understand. I do. You have work. I get it.”
“I’m still sorry it’s not me. However,” He kissed Graham again. “if you want to even make it to class today, you better turn tail and run. Or I will shred your clothes from your body, tie you to the bed and ravage you the rest of the day.”
Oh, yes! Wait… no. That was supposed to be a threat. And he really did need to get to class. With the chaos earlier that had ensued due to the floods and then the continuing tremors, classes had been suspended, the college itself closed, reopening today for the first time in over a month. And he was so close to finally graduating. So, today, Graham really needed to attend.
Hyden slapped Graham’s ass and it vibrated the butt plug Hyden had inserted that morning after their very early love-making session. When they had first gotten together Hyden would throw Graham around on the bed, flipping him effortlessly, penetrating him with abandon again and again. But Graham was over six months pregnant and Hyden tried hard not to put too much stress on Graham’s inflated abdomen. The last few months had him being gentle and extremely attentive.
This morning was no exception.
But that didn’t mean he didn’t play with all his toys.
After Hyden filled him several times with his essence, he allowed Graham to leave the bed to shower. However, before he could dress, Hyden bent Graham over and inserted the plug, wiggling it firmly once it was seated deeply inside. “Keep this in today,” Hyden whispered huskily in his ear as he continued to jiggle, push and pull on the device. “It will keep you nice and open for me.” Then he let go. “But I have another little surprise for you.” Suddenly the thick toy was vibrating on its own as Hyden held up his phone, the Butt Vibrator app lighting up the screen. Hyden slid his finger on the surface of the phone as he grinned evilly, and the vibrations increased in tempo causing Graham to gasp, leaning into Hyden for support. “I want you to think about me all day.”
Oh, he would. How could he not? Even without this toy shaking the inside of his ass reminding him how totally in charge this man was of him, Hyden was never far from Graham’s mind. But how was he supposed to concentrate with the large contraption, still shaking and vibrating gently, making him want Hyden to be the one filling him, right now instead. Graham smiled as he remembered Hyden playing with his toy from his phone as Graham attempted to dress and even now, standing in the living room, he leisurely fingered his phone, causing Graham to shiver with desire. He knew by experience he would be desperate by the end of the day. But he thrilled at the fact Hyden claimed him so thoroughly.

Hi, my name is Hurri Cosmo. I live in Minnesota where I hold tight to the idea that here, where it’s cold a good part of the year, I won’t age as fast. Yep, I avoid the truth as much as I avoid mirrors. But one of the reasons I love writing is reality doesn’t always offer up a “happily ever after” and being able to take control of that is a powerful lure. Oh, I don’t mind “real life” and I do try to at least keep it in mind when I write my stories, but I truly love creating a wonderful couple, knowing they will fall in love and have their HEA every ―single ― time. And, of course, that is exactly the reason I love writing this genre, too.
Give me a glass of red wine, some dark chocolate, and my computer, whether I am reading or writing, and I can entertain myself for hours. The fact that I actually get paid to do it is Snicker bars on the frosting on the cake.
