My Projects

The Week In Preview

And, of course, some older posts were getting some love too. So, these are the top 5 most viewed older posts for the week:

5th: Manga vs. Anime: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin – It’s back! This one drops in and out of the top ten quite a bit and was a lot of fun to work on. If you haven’t read it yet, I compare the popular series right up to the start fo the Female Titan arc and let you know which version I prefer.

4th: Beastars Episode 9 [Anime Review] – I absolutely love this series. Yes, being more than a bit furry helps but that’s not all. It’s one for eh best representations of how messy relationships can be in my opinion. This episode was where paths start to really converge and diverge.

3rd: Film Review: My Friend Dahmer – I was trying to figure out why this post hs had a resurgence I think it’s due to Disney+. You see, Ross Lynch starred as the titular serial killer, and was also in Austin & Ally. It also stars Alex Wolff of Nickelodeon’s Naked Brothers band. Anyway, it’s a really good film, and more than a little uncomfortable to watch, even though it stops before the young Dahmer became a murderer.

2nd: A&H Club Volume 1 by Rick Griffin [Graphic Novel Review – Furry / Lesbian / Drama] – Rick is consistently very good, and this is no exception, Less light-hearted than his popular webcomic Housepets, but high on emotion and awesome art. Well worth a read.

1st: Beastars Episode 1 – This is where it all began. Or the anime version anyway. Fro the get-go, you could see that this was going to be a special series. Really awesome stuff.

What Can You Expect This Week?

Okay, I’m slowly getting back on track here. I don’t have a set schedule again this week as I’m waiting on a few things. You can expect some books and some anime at the very least though. Hopefully next week we’ll be back on course for a proper schedule.

And…that’s about it! So, thank you all for sticking with me. Do you have a particular post you’re looking forward to this week? Or a favorite from last week? Let me know in the comments below.
