Welcome, one and all, to our monthly round-up! It’s been an interesting month and we’ve got plenty to go through, so let’s dive right into it.
Top 5 Most Viewed Posts
5th Place: Dogman: fact or fiction? and Film Review: My Friend Dahmer
A tie for fifth place sees two very different pieces getting some love. The Dogman post is a persistent favorite on the site, so that’s not a surprise really. On the other hand, though, the spurt of hits for My Friend Dahmer seemed to come out of nowhere. That’s pretty cool.
4th Place: Pit Fighters 1 by Rick Griffin [Book Review – Furry / LGBTQ]
Book 2 is out now, so expect me to grab and review that soon. Rick’s work is generally very good though, so it was nice to see this do well again.
3rd Place: Manga vs. Anime: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
Of course this one was in there. It’s my most popular post of all time. It’s also one that I’m quite proud of, so yay.
2nd Place: A&H Club Volume 1 by Rick Griffin [Graphic Novel Review – Furry / Lesbian / Drama]
I love that this one is getting so much attention. This was also the first month where one of the search terms to find me was фурри лесби, which is Russian for furry lesbian, according to Google Translate. Still, the comic is well worth a read.
1st Place: Pride Month: Genderfluid
Seriously, I am so happy about this. It’s one of my more personal posts, and the response to both the old and new version of it has been wonderful. So, thank you. You all rock!
As always though, there were a ton of posts that went live over the course of the month. So, split by overarching topic, here’s the full list.

What’s Coming In July?
Since June 24th, I’ve been using new post headers. If you have any feedback on them, please do let me know. The idea was to make everything more professional looking rather than rely on the auto-cropped images. You can expect more of them, anyway.
In terms of content, I’ve had a delivery of anime discs for review. For July, that will mean reviews for Darling in the FRANXX Part Two, Hanasaku Iroha Part Two, Sagrada Reset, and Steins;Gate 0 Part One. On top of that, I’ll be finishing up the current seasons of both Attack on Titan and The Helpful Fox Senko-San. Once they’re done, I’ll need some new shows for weekly review. I’m not sure what I’ll go with yet, but we shall see.
The regular book spotlight posts and OVW wrestling reviews will also continue. My hope is to start adding to the wrestling reviews too, but I’m not sure what company to post about. I will hopefully also have two new book reviews to post.
I’m working on getting a few sponsored posts again too, so some random material may appear soon. Ideally, I want to nab a few site sponsors to help with the running costs, but I haven’t decided who to reach out to yet.
How About My Projects?
So, this is mostly writing related. As it stands, I’ve done two runs of editing on Shadows of the Past (The Cassie Tam Files 4) with NineStar Press. I’m also nearly a third of the way through my first draft of Half-Light, the final book in The Cassie Tam Files series. I’m also making notes for an untitled new project that will be more of a sci-fi action horror piece. Basically, the creature I have in mind for it is one that’s been in my arsenal of made-up things for a long time, but I’m working hard on explaining the analogs it has with some real-life species.
As to cosplay…yeah. My liquid rubber attempt went rather wrong. That’s fine though. I still want to make the costume, but I’m likely going to have to switch back to my more familiar foam for the base.
And…that’s about it! So, thank you all for sticking with me. Do you have a particular type of post you’re looking forward to in June? Or a favorite from May? Let me know in the comments below.
