October 2018 Round-Up

Welcome, one and all to this month’s round-up! As always, let’s start with the Top 5 most viewed posts for the month:

5) MEN+MONSTERS by Aero Zero [Comic Review – Bara / Gay Monsters / Erotica]

This was an interesting post to write as it was outside my normal reading habits. I’m glad it was liked though, and it’s nice to see it perform so well.

4) Dogman: fact or fiction?

A regular high performer, this one is maintaining its popularity nicely. Dogman remains my faovurite cryptid though, and this was a lot of fun to write.

3) Tokyo Godfathers [Anime Review – Christmas / Drama]

I’m really glad I finally got to see this film. It’s a wonderful tale, and it was nice to see Manga share the psot around a bit when it went live.

2) Author Interview: Mary Anne Hinkle

I always enjoy doing author interviews, and i’m really glad to see that this one performed so well. Mary was a blast to talk to 🙂

1) A&H Club Volume 1 by Rick Griffin [Graphic Novel Review – Furry / Lesbian / Drama]

This was a big surprise for me. I really loved the comic, but I wasn’t expecting so many of my fellow furries to share the post around. And this really was a run away winner, coming in at around 2.75 times the number of hits as the second place post. That is incredible!

Another thing to note is that this is the first time in a long time that almsot everything in the top 5 was new posts. Normally, people take a while to see them, but this month, things were really great in terms of real time discovery. So, yay! Here’s the full list of October’s posts:

With the host move now having fully bedded in, I’m happy to see that there haven’t been any major problems with site access for people. You’ll see a lot of changes happening with the advertisers on the site too. I’m experimenting with ad placement, ad providers, etc. The eky for me is for it to not look too messy and not be too obtrusive with how you view the site.

This month, you can expect much of the same from the site. I have some books to review, some DVDs to watch, authors to talk to, books to promote, and all the other usual random stuff.

In terms of writing, things are moving along well. I’ve seen the cover for LV-48 [The Cassie Tam Files 3] now, and I love it! Meanwhile, book 4 in the series coming along well too.

I’m working on a new art project. The details are being kept under wraps for now, but you can expect to see some new things start appearing on the site soon. The main thing is that I’ll likely be moving away from RedBubble for shirt designs, at least in part though.

And … that’s about it for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the month to come!
