Welcome, one and all, to the June round-up! All in all, it was a pretty good month. Hits were up, interaction was up, and we ahd a good mix of old and new posts getting the attention. So, let’s start with …
THE TOP 5 MOST VIEWED POSTS FOR JUNE
5) Pride Month 2018: The Fluidity Of Gender: My Pride Month post and being gender fluid came in at number five. Both that and the positive response that it’s gotten are really heartening, so thank you all for that. I honestly couldn’t be happier because this was one that I wasn’t sure whether to write or not. It’s something that’ve struggled with over the years, and opening myself up left me a little uncertain. So, thank you.
4) Sonic the Hedgehog #5 [IDW Publishing] – Comic Review: This one should have been a May post, but I was delayed in picking up the comic, so it ended up a start-of-June thing. Still, I’m glad that the comic reviews are doing conistently well. I’m really enjoying the series so far, and writing the posts same day as reading the comic has been a good experience for me. Quick fire posts are something that I want to add more of, after all!
3) Addict (The Cassie Tam Files 1): My current book comes in at third. I sort of expected that this month as I’ve been seeing some good jumps in the Amazon charts. I am really happy with this though, so thank you to all who clicked it, and feel free to give the book a shot if you haven’t already! If the idea of a lesbian crime noir series with a near future sci-fi setting appeals, it could well be exactly what you’re looking for!
2) Manga vs. Anime: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin: I attribute this entirely to all the hype around the upcoming third season. I’m not complaining at all, and it’s a peice that I’m pretty proud of, but I do think that explains it. Still, good to see it doing well.
1) Dogman: fact or fiction?: This, again, may be explainable. Dogman is a popular cryptid at the moent. On top of that, there was a suspected Dogman shooting recetly (though that was disproven in the end). Still, I really love the animal, so this is great to see. I have plans for more dogman material too, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested!
Of course, those weren’t the only posts that went live last month. In fact, three of them are older than that! So, let’s do …
