My Art – 2017/18 PostMarch 9, 2018
Welcome, one and all, to another art post. There isn’t too much here to be fair, at least compared to the last post. But here we go …
Old Stuff I Found
I found some more of my older pieces. The two pony ones were among my first in my MLP:FiM fan art days. Not as good as some of the stuff that came later, but I’m happy enough with them. Meanwhile, the other pic is the only pic I’ve drawn of Renamon since my teenage days. It was a warm-up piece, basically.
The end of 2017 saw me put out a small number of shots of varying quality. First up, we have a doodle I did. This was actually a seal for a letter to my youngest’s teacher. I tend to do a lot of these, mostly because they’re fun.
Next up, a pixel art pic of Carnival from The Spark Form Chronicles. Having not done pixel art before, I’m really quite happy with this, mostly because it doesn’t suck.
And finally, we have some Cassie Tam pics. These came about because I’d finished the final draft of the second book, and wanted to practice. They aren’t perfect, and I really hate drawing hands, but that’s fine.
Well, it’s a slow start for art this year, but I’ve been focussing on the writing a LOT, so that explains it. I do have an art piece under consideration for a werewolf anthology, so we’ll see how that pans out. In the mean time, I have the silly pic below. It’s available now on all sorts of things on RedBubble.
And that’s about it for now. As always, if you’re interested in my art, you can see them first over on my DeviantArt page.
