Way Cool Wednesday: 4th October 2017

Welcome, one and all, to another awesome edition of Way Cool Wednesday! And you know what happens this month, right? It’s Halloween! So, we’re gonna have ourselves a video heavy but spooky little gathering of cool stuff. Let’s get to it!

Way Cool Music 1: Greatest Show Unearthed by Creature Feature

Creature Feature are one of those odd little bands that I sometimes stumble across without meaning to. This is one of their better known tracks, set to some CreepyPasta artwork.

Way Cool Story: Smile.dog – Jordan Persegati edition

Smile.dog is one of my favourite creepypastas. It’s a simple concept and creepy. Jordan does Creepypasta readings while drawing characters from the stories. The art is stunning.

Way Cool Animation: Chilling Tales For Dark Nights – 7 Films

Chilling Tales for Dark Nights does some cool radio dramas and horror readings. But … they also do some animated films. This is the complete collection of seven that they put together. There’re some interesting little concepts in there.

Way Cool Video: Flinch – 2013

So, what we have here is a fursuiter wearing a horror style mask and doing some body popping. What more could you want?

Way Cool Music 2: Tubular Hell by Van Helsing’s Curse

Dee Snider of Twisted Sister once saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra and figured that he’d like to do the same sort of thing, but for Halloween instead of Christmas. And so, we got a cool little VHC album. If you hadn’t guessed form the title, this piece features some tubular bells, but metal style. Enjoy!
