Welcome, one and all, to day seven of the 30 Day Anime Challenge. Today’s challenge is … Your Anime Crush. Huh. I figured this one would come up eventually. Honestly, I don’t know who I’d put in this spot. I’ve got no issue with anyone having crushes on anime characters, but it’s not the first thing that springs to mind for me when watching. Let’s see …
In terms of females, I’d maybe go for Revy from Black Lagoon. It would be fair to say that she’d be rather scary to date, but what can I say? She’s a bad ass, she has a dark sense of humour, and she’s incredibly loyal.
If we’re looking at males, then … let’s say Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler. In some ways, he’s a walking negative stereotype, but there’s something endearing about the reaper. Of course, getting him away from Sebas-Chan would be easier said than done.

Well, as far as anime crushes go, I myself would go with the Major from Ghost in the Shell. And I guess that can be pretty scary as well 😂

Yeah, same. Good choices (though I can never figure out if Black Butler is aiming to show Grell as a bi man or a bi transwoman).
At the moment, I’d pick:
Female: Mila Babicheva from Yuri on Ice
Male: Mockingbird from Deadman Wonderland

Grell is certianly an interesting one like that. Regardless of identity though, Grell would at least be dedicated to you if you caught their eye. at least juding by their devotion ot Sebastian.
I’m not actually familair with either character as yet. I think I read the first chapter of teh Deadman Wonderland manga a while abck when it came as a freebie in something else, but I haven’t checked out the anime as yet. Yuri on Ice remains on my ‘must watch soon’ list though.

And their relationship to Madame Red before that. But their Sebastian fervor is truly something else.
Mockingbird is a bit of an odd choice since they’re a mystery in the anime but his (oddly enough, I thought he was a she at first) character design that made me go ‘hello~’ when I first saw it.

Yeah, there is a great factor with her. Somehow though, I think that dating her would feel relatively safe, at least insofar as you like she wouldn’t let anyone kill you, which is a definite bonus in her neck of the woods.
